WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS A MAJOR STORM?


Should a major storm move toward Palm Beach County, Saint Jude Catholic School will follow the policies adopted by the Palm Beach County Public School authorities regarding school closings for inclement weather (Hurricanes & Tornadoes). If such an announcement appears on the local news, Saint Jude School will follow the same directives as the Palm Beach County Public Schools. Announcements are normally made beginning at 6:00 a.m.
Please refer to your local radio/television stations concerning school closing announcements in Palm Beach County.

Saint Jude Catholic School will reopen as soon as it is safe for staff and students to return. Updates will be sent via Twitter “@saintjudeschool”. You may also check our Facebook page - "Saint Jude Catholic School".

PLEASE NOTE!

1. If you feel your child is in harm, or you are uncomfortable leaving him/her at school during the storm, please keep your child home and he/she will receive an EXCUSED absence.
2. If, during the school day, you feel your child is in harms way, please come to the school office and SIGN him/her out and he/she will be dismissed from school with an EXCUSED absence.
